Hello Everyone,
On the 26th of September we took part in the BHF London to Brighton (off-road) bike ride.
Ride statistics Distance - 120km / 75 miles. Height - 1,220 metres or 4000ft of climbing Rider ability - Intermediate/Experienced Rider numbers -750 maximum. Route - Undulating and somewhat technical
Note from James Hills - They said there were two hills, there's been at least 13!!!
The event started from Roehampton University www.roehampton.ac.uk (07.45) and the ride followed a mainly "traffic free" route through Richmond Park, Weybridge, Shere, South Downs Link and down to the coast, taking in some stunning scenery, serious hill climbs and some technical trails on route.
BHF is a charity which most people will have a connection with at some point in their lives, as sadly Heart Disease is the biggest killer in the UK. Money raised helps to fund research and also helps to spread vital information allowing people to reduce their risk of Heart Disease and other complications. They also provide support and care for people with Heart Health issues. As with all charities funding raised by us (the public) is vital for them to continue with the great work that they do.
If everyone could sponsor us just a small amount, we will reach our target in no time. So please dig deep and donate a little (or a lot!!!) and sit back in the knowledge that your part is over. Its then up to us to do the hard work and cycle all those miles helping to improve the lives of todays (and tomorrows) Heart patients.
Thanks Ben & James
So the event is now over!
We completed the ride in 7.5 hrs, with a bit of extra time for a few rest stops and 1 puncture repair!
This page is LIVE until December, so please please please help us finally reach our target...
James really wants to raise enough for two nurses! (don't spoil it for him by telling him he doesn't get to keep them though!)

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page. Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: British Heart Foundation gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
