Bees ensure the maintenance of biodiversity and enable people to improve their livelihoods. Bees for Development Trust ensures beekeepers working in poor countries have access to the information and advice they need. For example, how to market honey, manage indigenous bees sustainably, or plant trees that are useful for bees.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I'm pleased to say that on the big day, I made it round the course in four hours and thirty two minutes. It was hot and hard, but I had tremendous support from the crowd and from fellow runners along the way.

This was my fifth London marathon. I ran in the first one in 1981, but this was absolutely, positively the last!

As you can see below I've been helped enormously by all the donations and pledges people have made over the past couple of months. If you'd like to add your name to the list, you are more than welcome - there's still plenty of time.
