Kids Kidney Research funds vital research into the prevention and cure of kidney disease and children at the Institute of Child Health and the Renal Unit of Great Ormond Street Hospital. Kidney failure has no cure, making research and your support so important. Please help them now.

My personal message:

I'm not quite sure what I was thinking when I signed that form but this April I will be powering 26.2 miles through the streets of London in a bid to raise as much cash as possible for Kids Kidney Research!

As many of you know, about 18 mths ago my brother Vijay had a kidney transplant, after suffering from kidney disease for many years, so raising money for this charity is something I'm particularly passionate about.  His unwavering determination to get through his illness without putting his life on hold (Glastonbury on dialysis, are you crazy?!) has been totally inspiring and that's what I'll be thinking of when I'm flaking half way round!
