In the UK: Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. 35,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year. One man dies every hour of prostate cancer. The Prostate Cancer Charity is the UK’s leading charity working with people affected by prostate cancer. We fund research, provide support and information, and we campaign to improve the lives of men with prostate cancer. We provide the only UK-wide prostate cancer Helpline staffed by prostate cancer specialist nurses. Our nurses offer free and confidential information and support to anyone affected by prostate cancer. The Prostate Cancer Charity is working towards a world where lives are no longer limited by prostate cancer. The Charity is fighting prostate cancer on every front - through research, support, information and campaigning.

My personal message:

15/04/2008 2 Days later and still absolutely elated at finishing. My sincere thanks to everyone who has supported me, A special mention to Smiffy for stsking with me and get me into a good flow until around 6miles. Thanks Sarah ans Scooby for your encouragemet enroute, and Finally to Mark, Geoff, Bobbie (my daughter), Connor and Tim for walking the last few miles by my side your encouragement made such a difference. Love you all.

As many of you know I was diagnosed with Advanced Prostate Cancer at the end of last year so this charity is very close to my heart, I will be doing my upmost to complete the Marathon , all I ask is that you support me to whatever level you are able.
