Hello and thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
As I’m sure you are aware, this July I am taking on the challenge of climbing
Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for VSO and RAISA (Regional AIDs Initiative of Southern Africa). RAISA is a programme that ambitiously tackles the growing HIV and AIDs pandemic. As you are here, you may as well dig deep and sponsor me on my somewhat foolhardy journey.
I want and more importantly need your help! I need to raise a total of £2,800 in quite a short space of time. Having received as much sponsorship as I can will help give me the drive to push on where otherwise I might give in. In the dark, in freezing temperatures, both physically and mentally exhausted, knowing that I've got so many people helping me and putting their hands in their pockets will enable me to find reserves of strength and will power to reach the 5,895m summit.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. Please note that all donations are in sterling so please use a currency converter e.g. www.xe.com to be sure you know what you are donating. This is the most efficient way to sponsor me: Voluntary Service Overseas will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
