Hey! Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. On 20th September 2009, I am taking part in the Great North Run, my first ever half marathon. I'm running for the charity Leukaemia Research and really hope that you will sponsor me to help me reach my fundraising target. Leukaemia is a cancer of the blood affecting many people worldwide, the majority of cases occuring in children under the age of 15. My mum is a survivor of leukaemia. Back in 1999, she was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia and after many months of intensive chemotherapy and radiotherapy she was given the all clear. However, many people are not as lucky as her. More research into treatments is needed but it's expensive. Leukaemia Research is looking to raise over £100 million over the next five years and I want to be involved in helping them reach this target. Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Leukaemia Research gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
