Thank you for visiting our fundraising page! Sarah and a very pregnant Abbie will be completing the London Bikeathon to support Leukaemia Research.
Abbie's 22 year old brother was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia just before Christmas and has just gone through a gruelling bone marrow transplant at Bristol Children's Hospital. Abbie & Sarah are raising funds to support the crucial work undertaken by Leukemia Research and the money raised will go some way towards improving prognosis and making things better for Leukemia sufferers in the future.
Donating through Justgiving is the most efficient way to sponsor us: Leukaemia Research gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor Abbie & Sarah! All donations are gratefully received, no matter how small.
And if parting with your money wasn't enough(!), can you please take this opportunity to consider registering as a bone marrow donor. Abbie's brother was fortunate to find a donor right away, but for many children and adults the search for a match is a difficult one. Please take a look at http://www.anthonynolan.org.uk for more information and offer your support if you can.
Abbie & Sarah :-)
