Marie Curie Cancer Care provides high quality nursing, totally free, to give people with terminal cancer and other illnesses the choice of dying at home, supported by their families. It runs nine Marie Curie Hospices across the UK offering free specialist care for patients and support for families. The charity conducts palliative care research to find better ways of caring for terminally ill people and also funds scientists who investigate the causes and treatments of cancer. Three Peaks Challenge for Marie Curie

Lindsay Hunter, Lizzie Walton and Matthew Blair of Nestlé Group Legal, together with Adam Sefton, Phil Walton and Simon Clawson will be doing the 3 peaks challenge on 8 and 9 August.

We're aiming to climb the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) in under 24 hours. We'll be walking about 25 miles and climbing a total height of about 10,000 feet. Our trusty driver, Adam, will be driving us 450 miles.

This all seemed like a good idea in the pub...
