My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page. We have made a short light-hearted film about what we are doing, which can be viewed from the link on this page, and we would be really pleased if you could take time to watch it. If you could recommend viewing of the film to your family and friends it would be greatly appreciated. The video can be viewed via clicking on the picture of food in the gallery below, or here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhZ5eXno_uw

We currently have a squash shirt on e bay, signed by all 4 finalists at the British Open 2012, the auction expiring Monday 15th June, all monies raised for this top will go to Forget Me Not Children's Hospice. Please bid if you can.

If you are unable to view the film, here is a brief summary, of what we are aiming to achieve, for your information and assistance.

Paul Keegan died in 2006 in a tragic camping accident. At the time of his death, Paul's family requested that any money raised in Paul's name should go to Forget Me Not Chidren's Hospice.

This charity provides fantastic support and assistance to chidren who have life limiting conditions, as well as to their families, at a time in their lives when they need it most.

Paul's uncle Will and his cousin Charles aim to raise money in Paul's name for Forget Me Not Children's Hospice, by playing 100 holes of golf, without the assistance of golf buggies, over 6 different courses around Huddersfield all within a period of 24 hours. The chosen date is FRIDAY 29th JUNE. As a result the lads will each play over 500 shots, walk in excess of 25 miles and will play about a third of the 100 holes in darkness, teeing off at 1 minute past midnight and playing on until all 100 holes holes have been completed about 23 hours later.

Will and Charles will be tweeting about their preparations and experiences so you will be able to keep up to date leading up to the event and what happens on the day itself. Follow Will on twitter at: https://twitter.com/#!/100golfholes and Charles on twitter at: https://twitter.com/#!/CRyanHicks
